Steve- I agree with your opinion IF their was a more positive connection between the Factory and the Dealer. The communication between the two is lacking for whatever reason. If you have been reading the posts from other Members waiting for their cars you would realize that the Dealers are only second guessing the progress of the vehicle until it is completed and ready for delivery. Their best estimates of delivery rely more on the history of the vehicles they have ordered and received. I do not see that as a break down in trust. A glimpse into the future is all we are asking for. Is that so bad?
For those of us waiting I surmise that the waiting period is getting longer for several reasons. One is the increase in orders because of price increases, exchange rate, economy and overall desirability/popularity of the M3W. The other is the offering of many more options. It maybe that the Factory has started production on vehicles that are relying on outside vendors for the availability of parts before they can be completed. All of the increase in demand and need for the parts will eventually work itself out and make the owners and employees of the Morgan Company very happy! In the mean time….. )-:
