Having just gone through this whole process myself, I lost count of how many times my dealer told me prior to and after submitting my deposit, receiving my build slot and designated build week, that MMC's scheduled times are highly speculative.

My point being, with few exceptions (Draggin's build), maybe this is on the shoulders of the customer. An exercise in self management of expectations.

Unless of course, some of the US dealers are creating the idea that we would be receiving realtime updates and status checks from a company that prides itself in it's use of old school techniques.


Glad your experience was enhanced by a dealer who was willing to make you aware of the reality. I based my comments on what I've read on TM, so I have no reason to agree with you.
