Everyone is entitled to their opinion, positive or negative. Tour guides are also Morgan owners and obviously he has had a personal experience. Having owned numerous car and bikes with leather tank straps, I am in total agreement with him. Yes look nice, but that's all.
I'm heartened to think you paid for someone's opinions, then. Not all are owners, and I doubt that their employer would agree with their sentiments whilst they are being paid by them.
I was there with my camera yesterday and have several images of the cars in build, especially three wheelers. However, taking photographs of the builds is a privilege and I would never dream of supplying those images direct to buyers without some form of consent because it breaks the trust between customer and dealer, and ultimately leads to three way conversations which are needless.
