Overall, it was a good day out and has made me re-evaluate Morgan ownership as, yet again, my car is off the road awaiting spare parts. Do I really want to continue wearing the hair shirt that Morgan ownership entails?
Waiting for spare parts is unacceptable. I had to wait weeks for a part for my Roadster that had failed - a brand new car. Really not good.
That aside, there is something a little more unique about a Morgan. Porsche, Jaguar, Mercedes, BMW, Audi - all excellent cars, but they lack the individuality of a Morgan. Which would I rather look at parked outside a country pub?
However, if the ownership experience means waiting weeks for spare parts, then I would admit to having a sense of humour failure.
