If the M3W is going through the MSVA test it will need to be a lot quieter - 99dBA limit at 0.5m and 45 degree angle.

The VIN plate states 95dBA which I would assume is with the standard exhausts.
My MMC Stage 1 "passed" a Goodwood 98dB noise test but I suspect was a few over as they wouldn't tell me what the reading was.
My G56 pipes also passed the Goodwood test, but it really depends on who wields the noise meter on the day. There's a Mr Grumpy and a Mr Happy - guess which of those two you need to worry about....
