"I have confirmed your specification with the Morgan factory this morning but they have come back to me to advise me that the Stage-1 upgrade kit has been deleted from the options list due to supplier issues.
I think they have always had supply problems with the Stage 1 kit. I waited 4 months. I guess the shortage is holding up the production line so maybe it would be an idea to take delivery of the car and put a kit on back order? It is a £1200 option on a new car and as far as I know there is no allowance on the very expensive standard exhausts they don't fit. The parts to retro fit a Stage 1 cost £859.74p inc VAT less fitting so there is no cost disadvantage even if you paid the dealer to fit it. You also get to keep the standard silencers.. As Richard W says, it is like having a better gearbox fitted (well worth it) Stick with it. Hope it all works out for you. It will be worth it in the end.
So how loud is it? I wouldn't want to go any louder. Hope these help.
