I was at the factory on Friday and Euro 4 cars start production in a couple of weeks. Mine is the 35th E4 car and was due in week 40, but they say they are 4 weeks behind so expecting it to be made in week 44. I was interested in the changes to the ride height and wondering whether to bother with the new lowering kit. Although there was no full E4 spec car on show they had a E3 car with the rear raised to E4 height and the body work is about 2" higher off the ground. This achieved with having now two brackets on rear swing arm for the lower spring bolts - so easy to move up and down. The front height increase is achieved by having a new upright with the axel stub welded about 50 mm lower down. It also now has two separate brackets for the steering arm and mudguard - a better design. The car looks a little higher but not peculiarly so. I spoke to people in the 3W workshop and they say it's the same to drive, but better over speed bumps and less likely to back into kerbs!
