Thanks chaps, it's not as difficult as it looks. It’s just a case of working out the connections as there’s not much information available out there, particularly re the pcb. I spent a lot of time pawing over the diagrams in the parts catalogue and the rest was ‘by guess’ and ‘by golly’. There was no disasters but at one point I did have the headlights flashing. I will endeavor to collect up all my scribbly scraps of paper from the garage floor and try and put a wiring diagram together at some point. There’s many way this can be approached. It could even be simplified by replacing the led’s with regular bulbs so no resistors to worry about.
I have been trying to get my head around this but all I can find on the Rutter parts book is a chassis harness. No dash details etc. Nowhere could I find the resistors and the led indications either.
So, am I missing something here; are there actual wiring diagrams that I have missed or did you really do it from the harness diagram and guesswork from fighting your way through the actual wiring behind the dash?
If so, it appears to be much more difficult than it looks!
EDIT..
Another issue just spotted: in the photo of the dashboard sub harness connector, there are 3 red wires attached to the resistance board, and yet at the other end only 2 red wires going on to the warning light pcb socket! And no mention either on the diagram, of 2 wires going into position number 1, (one of which is red and could be the mystery one?)
