I totally agree with all of the above, I run a small heating company and rely totally on recommendation, we don't advertise at all and never have.
We give a quality service at a fair price, all our work comes from repeat business and recommendation and has done for over 23 years.
If I can do it why can't MMC it just needs to listen to its customers and react promptly.
We all know things can go wrong now and again but if its sorted out promptly and to the customers satisfaction then no problem.
Come on MMC we all know it can be done, there just needs to be the will to make it happen and deliver.
