I know quite a few here are not in this category, however the majority of the country is.

Isn't it long overdue that the elderly and vulnerable isolate and leave the rest to it? As others have said this isn't going away anytime soon and even with a vaccine there's no 100% guarantee.
So to summarise this theory
All over 60’s and anyone with an underlying health condition (definition to be decided), irrespective of employment status are to isolate themselves until they receive a 100% guaranteed vaccine.
Isolation, by definition, to include no physical contact with family and friends, so no baby sitting etc. No going out for exercise as you could easily come into contact with others.
Alternatively of course we could just isolate the f’wits irrespective of age who can’t manage to socially distance and wear masks
