This morning
met friends for coffee in a regular, well managed coffee shop. All are nurses/ex nurses and well educated about hygiene.
I would put myself and my crew in the same category as your wife, however I can understand why people may make an assumpton that we are putting ourselves and everyone else at risk. If one of us were even slightly concerned, we would stay away, but I am also aware that we might be asymptomatic as we probably have a superior immune system to the average person.
As 50+ year old bikers, we are very good at calculating risk and acting appropriately
I've just returned to my office after sorting out a punch up. I have been covered in small amounts of spit and gob from the hoards of kids who surrounded it, and had to physically restrain two 15 year olds who were insistant on punching seven bells out of each other. It was quite amusing to watch, as they were both under 5ft and I looked like some kind of giant as I got each of them by the scruff of their blazers and dragged them off......
