John - thanks I am sure my car will bring much joy.

About paying cash, for years I had the feeling many people retired and took pay pension and part lump sum and some of the lump sum was used towards a Morgan. Sure younger people bought them as well but I thought many bought of the car as a retirement present to themselves after years of wanting one, that is what I was expecting to do until the retirement day finally came and due to changes in rules, fund earning rates etc. the all pension option made more sense. So I had to work again afterwards and fund the toy car delaying it a couple of years. I think things are changing and the younger generation are happy to borrow for what they want to get it when they want.

Gary - interesting. The phone number and e-mail address for Chris is the same on the old and new websites so definitely the same company. They state "Morgan Cars is an official Morgan Dealership based in Australia. Morgan Cars is proud to represent the Morgan Motor Company. As an official Morgan Dealership, Morgan Cars are authorised to sell new and used Morgan vehicles, as well as providing Aftersales services for existing models and the supply of official Morgan parts." I wonder if they have managed to sell any new cars since the demise of the Trad.

Selling these cars to Australian requirements under the dealer conditions set by Morgan would be a tough gig.
That's why we lost the opportunity of a brilliant Perth Dealer.

I don't follow the action like I used to so I'm not sure how much business has been done.
