While watching some of the LeMans the other day one commentator talked about Hydrogen fuel.
The 2025 race is going to have a couple of H powered cars, Toyota, I think. They have stated they will be competing for overall winners not a class win. He added that JCB are moving to diesel to Hydrogen conversion as EV JCB’s simply won’t be usable. I think he also said Toyota have already entered a H powered car in a couple of endurance races as development tests. Road going modified cars not specials or concept types.
The future looks better! He also commented about two types of Hydrogen. Green Hydrogen from cracked water using green electric power and Brown Hydrogen from chemical based production.
Hydrogen is definitely on the upside behind the scenes.
