If I didn't love the Morgan so much I would actually have to put it in the MMC's yard

Hi Clemens, sorry to hear about your latest rain water leak.. if the leak is in the centre dash it could also be from the automatic light sensor which is in the middle just by the middle wiper, we had a small trickle from it when we first purchased our car, the dealer changed the sensor as it was also playing up and resealed the area.. The last time our wiper mechanism self destructed I had a chance to see that as well as fitting a gasket under the wiper arm stainless outer clamping fixing, the factory had filled the area where the wiper arm mechanish comes through from under the dash to the exterior with silicon ( or similar ), so they appear to try to seal from any leaks developing in that area. I also noted that the latest (new) wiper mechanism the factory fitted seems to be a better made assembly, with tighter tolerance between the inner wiper shaft and its outer threaded area, although I would think it unlikely much water would come in via the wiper shaft itself, but you never know for sure......
