As a schoolboy I used to ask my friend Tom McAnerney home for tea ……my mums initial panic, thought there were three boys coming back ! Always caused confusion over the years. We had a Brian Hind as a neighbour . He was Mr B Hind. Also in the 90s a Gordon Bennett . Also a Mr & Mrs Foot ……..as a family we called them the Feet’s - perhaps wrongly !? Best MM
PS Recommendation - if not making a Christmas cake, can I recommend the Aldi rich selected Christmas fruit cake @ £8.49, ideal with a bit of Mrs Kirkhams Lancashire cheese.
