With one sweeping generalisation I'm probably going to upset all traditional Morgan owners, 'no one cares about you anymore'. It's true, as a target market you are dying out. Although you are the people that have helped keep our little British car company alive over the years, you job is now done and Morgan thank you for your commitment, loyalty and service.

Well, we all get older and have or had our time. Perhaps I have made a small contribution to the company's well-being with 5 new and sometimes more expensive Morgan in 20 years. Tomorrow I will be 66 and fortunately I still feel very comfortable and agile, I still enjoy working two thirds of the time in my business as a depth psychology market researcher, as long as my customers appreciate the work of my team and me. The same applies to this forum. Even though I've had ‘my time’ as a high spending Morgan driver and can no longer spend an estimated €150,000 plus in Germany on a new ‘Supersport’, or want to because I need to secure my pension, I'm very pleased to still be part of this community. I am also happy for every Morgan enthusiast of any age to be able to afford everything he or she wants. Everyone has their personal scope and their personal limits. And mutual respect for these margins and limits is what makes being together as members possible and truly enjoyable. Without envy and without false pride. I think what matters here in the forum is the exchange of experiences with the Morgan and mutual help with technical problems etc. I don't want to be reduced to my potential purchasing power for a brand new Morgan Supersport, wanting or having to buy it to be accepted here. And I don't think that's perhaps what you meant either, Julian.
BTW I'm very excited about your choice of equipment, colour etc and I'll be happy for you when your new Supersport arrives. I mean that quite seriously and not ironically. After all, you are fairly right, we all have or have had our time, yours is now, and it is good, for you and for MMC.
