The black letterboxes on that Vid above look better than the silver ones I saw.
It does seem that car manufacturers have now reached a situation where they are happy to build cars which they think we want, rather than what we actually do want. Jaguar is leading the charge to extinction, but some others are close behind.
I'm taking my Golf (Mk6) in for a service on Monday and got an e-mail asking me if, while I was there, would I like a valuation for part exchanging? My response was very simple. VW don't build anything I want to buy. I don't want an EV. I don't want an SUV. I don't want an auto or DSG. I'm lukewarm about touch screens. I don't want an electric hanbrake.
That doesn't leave much choice. Son in Law just bought an ultra low mileage LWB Audi A8 W12. Good on him I say. It's not for me, being big and auto gearbox, but what a lot of car for the money.
