Contacted my dealer, BerryBrook Motors, Exeter at 0900 this morning. They knew nothing at all. I sent them the MMC Notice. Straight away Sean the owner of the dealership said that he will carry out any work necessary to my Mog to correct any problems. He knowns that Maria and I are using our Mogs all the time. They called the factory and the guys on the "shop floor" so to speak knew nothing about a recall for these problems. The day has passed by and BerryBrook received an e-mail around 1600 hrs from MMC telling them of the potential problems, ie Chassis and brake pedal. Asking the dealers to contact all their known owners of potentially affected early models just to warn them of this problem. Just chatted with Sean at 1700 hrs, he is extremely concerned with the numbers of affected early models that he has shipped abroad and how any fix will take place and where and by whom ? The MMC e-mail makes no indication of what remedial work is needed to ensure the correct brake set up is fitted. I would imagine this will be a bit of a logistical problem for Morgan to sort out and until they say exactly what the fix will be I suppose it's sit and wait ? Looking forward to the "fix" so we can continue to enjoy the Mog for the rest of the summer. Ian
