I see that was in response to your email Wilson. What I mean is, has anyone had any contact from Morgan to ask them to get their M3W checked, like you get from other car companies when they do a recall. I don't think a post on TM will reach all the owners of the pre 2014 cars, or even most of them. I have owned my car from new in 2013 and have had a number of dealings with MMC. They must have contact details of the first owners at least, you would think that they would have contacted them.

I would like to think that the post by MMC on TM was not just hastily put there without a plan in place to contact the owners, inform the dealers about what to check, what the remedial action is, provision spares required etc. If that has not been done I can see a lot of unhappy customers with their cars sat at a dealer waiting for an answer from MMC about what to do and when the parts are arriving, as the summer disappears. It seems they have had several months to plan these recalls and they know exactly how many cars are involved.
