Hmmm...luckily Porsche have never had to recall any cars due to spontaneous conflagrations, neither have Ferrari, nor Vauxhall. Honda and Toyota (and others) have never had an airbag problem. Ford never built the Explorer nor the Pinto, Lancias have never suffered from corrosion. Mini sub frames never rotted away to nothing before their first MOT and nobody's septum has ever rotted away from consuming the main output of any car company More crucially, all of the aforementioned have had slight issues with denial of the problem before finally having to react and tacitly accept a degree of reality except maybe BL and the Mini. Rotting septums may of course just be down to an FBI sting.
Because others did it doesn't make it ok. Thats a diversion - this is not a "slight" issue.
The Morgan Motor Company were asked politely and specifically by a M3W owner about cracking and failure issues in the peddle box on this forum ages ago.

To the best of my knowledge there was NO response.
