I put a similar journey (Clapham Common to Redruth in Cornwall) into my EV planner.... leaving Clapham (home) with a 100% charge.

I would get to the Lifton Supercharger with 24% charge remaining - charge for 6 minutes taking it from 24% to 41% charge (£3.41 cost) and arriving at Redruth with 20% charge remaining. Total cost (one way) £3.41 and total charging time, 6 minutes. I have found in my ownership that the planner is unerringly accurate.

The same journey in my Range Rover would be roughly £130 and if not refuelling then 6 minutes quicker assuming I didn't need to stop to use the loo.


Well, a bit more than £3.41 as you still need to return the car to 100% charge while in Redruth. But the majority of cars would be cheaper than a Range Rover for the same trip smile
