It appears the French not satisfied with threatening Jersey over electricity supplies, have send a naval vessel to escort French fishermen determined to blockade Jersey port...the Royal Navy now has 2 ships diverted to protect the UK waters. All of which strengthens my argument.......the UK is not planning on electricity generation independence and, as cold calm winters days as earlier this year will always be reliant upon conventional energy generation from continental Europe at vastly hiked prices. We are opening ourselves up to the economic and industrial devastation we saw in the 1970's with the oil crisis and resultant 3 day week etc. this time over electricity.
