Lots of the "sniffy" end of the market nosebags down here have limited opening hours or days in our area.

A classic Mini restorer recently placed a full page ad, desperately appealing for experienced staff, inc spanner shaker, panel beater, painter, storeman, apparently lots of over 55 to 60's never returned post Covid and he's turning more work down than he's actually taking on

It's sad when the knowledge base is being depleted at a stroke.

They have created a Marine Academy down here to attract and train youngsters into the boatyards and Marinas that abound in the area which hopefully will work out well in the long view.
