Well B-mog you have a reputation for being one of the wisest when it comes to Morgan spanner-ing and that's when it shows up! I always maintain that the classics just need proper servicing and looking after. For those who don't understand what I mean, well I don't mean polishing it! That's like your old mum burning the cake yet icing it to perfection. servicing and maintenance really is best done by the owner but think how your dad from the 50's to 70's looked after his car's and you'll be somewhere close to understanding what is required. I would feel quite upset when my MOT came around if I didn't get a "spot on" confirmation from the tester.

Just think how much a dealership charges for your tin top service then look at the invoice and see just exactly what they did for the money! You get my point! Yes, most of that dosh went into their pocket. So now you can see why Morgan maintenance at a proper dealer is so expensive...... not because they are ripping you off but because the amount of work needed is still old school and takes time. So, if you can't or don't want to get involved in looking after it yourself, stay safe and see it as a cost of furnishing your hobby.
