Today was Aboyne over GlenShee, by Perth, and Stirling into South Lanarkshire for a half way stop. That was 3.5hrs. Roads pretty quiet, except for passing Perth. We did the new Tay crossing, which is amazing, but quite honestly, I think I prefer the original east side route onto the M90. Those two roundabouts at Perth are bottlenecks, even on Saturdays.
