I read about these milage figures but how do they stand up in the real world. What does it take in energy on a cold frosty,dark morning? How and what heats the cab up and clears the windows,and how long does it take? Complete electro novice.
Not much more than in warmer weather, heats up quicker than an ICE because it doesn’t have en engine that has to heat up before you can heat the car, takes less than a minute for heat to come through all you’re doing is drawing power from the battery, and no it doesn’t reduce range that much.
