Diesel is not a done deal yet.....the curve has bottomed out and people will be buying diesels in big numbers again...trust me
I'm not sure.. Autocar reported that in one of their long term text Vauxhalls the particle filter failed and Vauxhall don't didn't automatically consider it a warranty matter, they wanted to understand the use of the car. It was implied that using the car for repeated short journeys would invalidate the warranty. If the DPF is a wear item I can see a lot of unhappy owners. These things are expensive.
