I tried to car share here, but due to cycle of shifts, only one I could do from my town to work, worked out at a compatibility of 2 days in 3 weeks. There is a guy from my building at work nearby but although he is on sort of the same shifts he starts and finishes an hour later than me.
As for public transport 3½ hours to do 20 minute journey in car (nevermind trying to tally with my shifts)
