I only use home charging and the Tesla supercharging network throughout Europe. Based on this, my second Tesla, my average annual mileage in it is 36,900.
Right now I am close to 62,000 miles and my battery has degraded around 3% from it's new capacity. This is fairly typical, average is between 4-6% over the first year or so and then it seems to slow or stop degrading completely. I cannot vouch for that as I haven't had either Tesla more than 2 years yet.
So far I have never run out of charge anywhere.
I would say that 200 miles is my realistic range, perhaps 220 in warm weather and low wind and 175-180 in cold winter.
I think for the UK market that range is plenty. It is 3 hours of motorway driving and 4-4.5 hours of country road driving, surely plenty enough to want to have a break for 10-20 minutes or perhaps a lunch stop for 45-60 minutes.
The more empty a battery is, the quicker it charges. In 10 to 20 minutes I can get an extra 50 -100 miles of charge and 45-60 minutes I can get 150-225 miles of charge. Totally empty (in this one I've been down to 7 miles left) to totally full would take about 1 hour 40 minutes.
At home (single phase) I get 20-22 miles of charge per hour from my Tesla home charger. With 3-phase you could get 34-36 miles of charge per hour.
