We fully expect the same thing to happen here in Italy. People are total idiots, particularly the majority young people who are showing a complete disregard for the law and a disrespect for others...
Peter, I have to disagree - at least when I have a look at the situation in Austria where the elderly seem to ignore regulations for masks and hygiene more than youngsters do. If the young do not behave one has to blame their parents who did a miserable job in growing them up properly. One more thing to encounter is the different feeling for time and duration. When I was young and had to wait for something like the end of a school year one month was an endless period of time. Now even a year rushes by like an express train.
One has to accept that children see things different. It is no disrespect, it is their youth.
