Our local Hermes lady has seen the light and bought the Nissan EV van as well. She said she often does 60-100 drops in a day but little mileage so it works out well. The tax works out even better for her! As you mention, the series of short hops make it ideal and no smelly diesel fumes whilst she is waiting or constant stop start which is terrible for the engine/cat/fumes.
