Having driven around Curborough it is a surpise to think you were in 1st.

We were in second... but the high 1st also pushed 2nd up a touch. The net result is that 1st is too low and 2nd is slightly too high. Strangely the stock 2nd is better for that turn. Our 2nd gear is geared for upto 83mph on this engine, so Fradley at 33mph is a bit of a squeeze. Sticking in a gear change does only causes problems.. I've tried it a couple of times. The benefit with the 2nd we have is that you can stick with 2nd all the way around other than the 1-2 shift off the line and the 2-3-4 shift up the long straight
