The racing resumed in the afternoon but between my off and several others on the day runs were cut down to one timed run only. Even then, one of the TVR drivers failed to get beyond 300 yards from the start line before getting onto the grass on the infield.

Results in the Morgan camp for the remaineder of the field were as expected - Paul Bryan picking up the honors followed by Clive Glass and Ian Hargrave.

At the end of the day, we headed home with a hanging yet slightly stiff neck along with a real dose of dented pride.

Back at home, I whipped out the telemetary chip and took a look at what happened.... the graphs tell the tale... the cold reduced grip by 30%, I was over committed going into quarry and whilst the entry speed was matched to the last run the braking was harder. A momentary lock up pushed me 10mph too quick into the turn and understeer ensued.

So... what's our focus now... well, Woodstock needs to be finished and that's our priority. The little sprint car will be packaged up and long lead time items considered and ordered. Chassis, Cross-head, near-side wings all need replacing and will take months to source - funds permitting.

At the end of the day, it's on all the signs of the circuit and we've had 4 years racing with no major off's. I'm ok which is what matters and the race car can be re-built.
