Reccomended by me to, easy to use. Easier still if you take the wheels off,clean them, grease the front end and then the job is done.
How often? I do it every 3 months, ignore the actual miles. At about 5000 miles a year it works out that in the summer it is about 1500 miles, in the winter every 700 or so. Not an exact science.
How much: At the top 5 shots, at the lower until new grease appears at the top of hte lower spring. One important point: don't let excess grease build up on the lower springs, it can easily get on the disk. Not reccomended...
I use the Wurth Lithium Moly grease, a 400g cartridge lasts a year or more.
I agree with everything you say but the price of that gun's at least £15 over the top.
Spaniels don't come cheap..... Lawrie fitted the grease cartridge for me as well!
