Mario,

if we assume (and when talking about Morgans all assumptions must be made with great care..)that the suspension parts are broadly stmetrical and the X Wedge motor is also symetrical about a vertical centre line then there can only be two logical conclusions:

First, the motor is mounted in the chassis, or the chassis is, out of true.

Second, the right side header pipe is incorrectly bent.

Looking carefully at the photos it seems to me that the right side header pipe has a slight "bananna" shape where the left hand pipe is almost straight, in both cases between the cylinder head and the first bend.

On the right side the distance between the exhaust and indicator is much greater than the same gap on the left hand side.

So it seems to me that the problem is with the exhaust headers and not the suspension. I hope so, it is much easier to fix....
