Hi Calum, it's being considered for the "temporary fix" and I also wonder if that's what the "factory latest specification" brings.
We have a saying here that goes like this (in rough translation): "For every problem there is a solution, and for every solution there is a problem".
So the G56 solution poses its own problem in this case (Brooklands M3W), and that is: you can't place a flexi joint rightin front of the silencer because ... right in front of the silencer you have a mount.

So, a new flexible section, if you respect the mounts placement, will have to be placed a few cms forward, well into the pipe's length and in no way "half-concealed" by the silencer's cover, as it happens with the G56 version.
In any case, I'll take this slight aesthetics annoyance any day if my only other option is a continued breaking of exhausts (every couple of 1000 kms)
