Still with the dealer, still wrapped, no idea what might have changed (if anything) from Mk III spec. Tomorrow they'll be sent to the workshop and I'll get to see them. Will post pictures as soon as possible.
If they don't have the additional flexi-joint up by the silencer, as per the latest G56 pipes, then I'd look to get some welded in myself....! I remain convinced that this is the only workable longterm solution for these designs.
Totally agree. Adding extra strength on the pipe to silencer interface simply moves the inevitable break point to the next weakest location
