I spent today working on the car to get rid of 3764 miles of splatter. I went to Andover to get all the cleaning materials to work on the car.

I am pleased to say I treat all flies equally and have a great collection of squashed dead stuff from the UK, France, Italy and Monaco. It is now on the floor of the drive as part of tomorrow's task. Clean the drive.

I used a new attachment on the pressure washer along with the Autoglym Snowfoam cleaner as a trial and am very pleased with it. Marias Black Mini had been neglected on the drive for the near four weeks we went away so I did that as well. The Coupe and the Mini now look like they have been polished when all I did was the wash element. I am very impressed with this product. I will follow through with the polish tomorrow.

The Coupe has collected a couple of small scars on the paint which is not a surprise given the mileage and roads. I will also need to take the paint renovator to a couple of patches. In Italy the pumps offer attendant and self service. The attendants are keen to help and when pushing the pump in tend to make contact with the wing. Its hard to translate "you touch that pump and I will smack you into next week" politely when they so clearly love the car and mean well.

Everyone loves a Morgan. Even me, unless it's broken again.
