It has been a gloriously hot bank holiday, thank goodness for the A/C!

We went via the A30 to Stockbridge, then the "original" last part of the A272 through Sparsholt to Winchester, crossing the Spitfire bridge to look down on a virtually stationary southbound M3, then back on the A272 to the A32 and West Meon. Lots of bikes out and a few interesting cars, including a 3 wheeled Morgan Aero.

The pub is good, as is the food. This is a LINK to their website.
We ate in the garden, with a lot of other people...we had booked otherwise we would not have had any food, by 2pm they were turning people away.
I think they were a lot busier than expected.

As we arrived at 11:40 I was able to park outside, a few minutes later a glorious Jag turned up.

Here we are together!

The E Type owner had been going to Goodwood, but a binding front brake brought his plans to an end..

A wonderful day out, Tarka performed flawlessly, no heat soak through from the engine to the cockpit (unlike the Roadster) and the coolant temperature stayed on 82C.

PS: Photos taken on new iPhone 8, much better than the old 5C!!

You could have got it all on - cut its back off!

Anyway, that bronze colour looks great in the sun - this is why we have em.

Just cruising locally - I love the Aero - it's got it's flaws, but it's a work of modern art and every body else seems to like it too. So glad I bought it.

Going to the Isle of Man Wednesday, but taking the Plus 4 - dodgy weather and dodgy roof on the Aero umbrella
