IMO they invested a lot in Aero 8 hoods. How many different versions have been developed?
Have no knowledge of, and don't dispute that at all. My entirely selfish interest is in the 'Trad' hood.
Would have thought that 70 years or so should be enough to get it right, but my first convertible, so nothing to compare it to. Do any others leak?

My first +8 (1991) didn't leak at all.
My second +8 had a lot of leaks. The hood was NOT one of them.
After a few years water (just drops) came inside (between windscreen and hood) both cars when I was driving fast.
Third car (4/4 with trad hood) same experience.
Tourer: Of course more screens, more gaps, more water. The part of the new hood on top of the windscreen was a problem but my dealer fitted a rubber sealing inside the hood frame and the problem was gone.
