Hello

You boys really are getting bent out of shape over a set of wings. A fine looking lady I could understand but a badge on a set of wheels

You all need to get out more

New wings don't bother me. Less traditional but they are not exactly radical enough to worry.

I couldn't agree more. The fact that there is now a thread entitled "I am bored" is an indication of how great a need there is to get out more. The obsessive predisposition to constantly criticize CM and MMC beggars belief. A consumer has a simple remedy if they are unhappy with a manufacturer.....they don't buy the product.
Peter Morgan is quoted as saying, “there are more reasons for not buying a Morgan than for buying one”. Morgan cars are what they are and that is what makes them special. The MMC does things in its own way and that is what makes it special. Where else can you wander freely around a factory and talk to craftsmen as they carry out their trade? How many Companies are there that would allow its factory to be brought to a standstill by an invasion of Belgian visitors’ intent on seeing the marvel that is MMC? The overwhelming majority of Morgan owners love their cars and accept they are not perfect. In spite of, or perhaps because of, the imperfections the cars are one hell of a drive. I'm now approaching two years of ownership and my only regret about buying one is that I did not buy it sooner. The day MMC starts using management-speak, employs smart-arsed marketing consultants and introduces fancy yet transient control systems the magic of the Company will be lost. If you can't accept the cars for what they are then buy a Porsche or Mercedes or whatever.
So the Company has updated its logo? The result?..... hysterical squeals of derision and criticism. It announces its website is to be updated which produces another opportunity to criticize for not having acted sooner. What do you people want? You’re clearly so bored that you have to create controversy.
And for the record, do I like the logo?…Yes! It complements both the Aero and the Life Car project (which I hope comes to fruition). Will it spoil the look of a trad? Of course not, and anyway, MMC haven’t said it will be fitted to trad models. Perhaps MMC will surprise you all by retaining the present logo for the trad cars and using the new logo on its contemporary range. Whatever it decides just accept that it is their decision to make just as it is your decision which car you buy.
