Sorry for a very short post, when my joy is immense! Tomorrow would be the last day I could pick my M3W Brooklands in Malvern, and THIS MORNING I got the call. I have a license plate!
I'm racing against time so I can be in Malvern in 24 hours. I'm getting a train tonight to the Algarve, because it's only from there that I can catch a morning flight to Birminghamn, where I should arrive at about 2 PM. I hear that the factory closes at the end of friday mornings, but my dealer got assurance from MMC that I wouldn't be faced with a closed door in the afternoon.
Still not sure how to go with my wife from Birmingham to Malvern, once again my dealer told me he was going to ask MMC if they could go pick me at the airport (which, after all I've been through, would be nice).
I'm now heading out of the office to get the proper insurance papers, then off to the dealer to sign whatever still needs to be signed, then home to get a few things on a back pack, then to the train station. Non stop.
If anyone wants to go by the factory tomorrow afternoon, they'll probably notice a Brooklands being delivered.
Can't wait!!!!!!
Cheers all
PS - Robbie, I still intend to go to Ireland. Tomorrow night after I leave the factory I will head West. But now I don't have anything booked, I'll try to replicate all I had planned for the beggining of the month, but not sure of the hotels availability and current prices!
