In hindsight i was being overly fair to Morgan. The letter is disingenuous. They did sort my car with no quibbles and indicated to me that they would repair any chassis at any age. They also sorted it very quickly. However i did feel that there is an air of secrecy at Morgan and the impression I have had with this and other issues is that its a case of please keep your mouth shut! Also Morgan apear to have favoured customers. The sprocket issue being a case in point. I am a hight millage csutomers and have spent good money on getting my own sprockets made! When others have been given warranty replacements and asked to trial steel ones. Hopefully Morgan can change there culture. After talking to the 2 And 3 speed guys I came away with the opinion that the only way forward is to develop and fettle the cars yourself as they have done. I still love the old girl, i dont love the brand!!!
