On the brighter side, (if there is one) Callum has done a considerable mileage already, before this problem, and he will be getting a new chassis, and possibly one or two other little goodies fitted whilst the car is apart, right Callum? But I have seen cracked chassis on quite low mileage cars as well.

Dan makes a good observation, in that there should also be something to lock the two forward ends of the top chassis tube together, even a bolt in bar would help. I wonder if we will ultimately see this solution on a future chassis Dan?


If morgan subcontracted the chassis design out to a third party then some of the financial liability could sit with the designer.
