I will also say Thanks to Mark E for giving us the update on TM and I for one fully understand that Forums can be argumentative and emotional places to chat - but also massively useful as well. Design and functional issues aside, I think we should celebrate being able to have such a close relationship with our cars' manufacturer, which is a privilege not enjoyed by 90% or the buying public. Not even a niche manufacture like Caterham have such close, almost 'personal' links to their customers.

Even Audi are pretty much still in denial about the failures of the DRC suspension components on RS4's and RS6's over the last 10 years and it was forum power that forced their hand to deal with the issues fairly - flat denial was difficult to disprove in the pre-forum era. Anyone who makes anything for sale to the public these days needs to be very careful in matters of this nature.

By way of another example, I was at a trackday at Goodwood yesterday and had my chassis inspected by Mark Reeves whilst we chatted about my G56 kit amongst other things. MMC were there to support on of their dealers and they didn't just post a couple of demo cars to be thrashed around - they sent senior folks who really took an interest in us all. Can't imagine Herr Geschaftsfuhrer Audi pitching up at The Ring to chat to happy RS drivers...?!

Anyway, just saying!
