Well folks, my depressing adventure continues. I've shared my crack saga before. I had the crack welded on my 2012 and the repair turned out nicely, however the EXTREME PULL TO THE RIGHT AND RATTLE VIBRATION continued, Some of you may remember that this saga started some time ago. After the crack repair the symptoms remained. I decided an extreme inspection was required. Up on stands with a pry bar to tweak and wiggle everything I could. As I worked my way to the front I found nothing, then as I looked up in the area of the upper A frame on the right just behind the A frame mount and hidden by the body I could see another crack. When I went to the top to look I found it wasn't a crack but a break in the tube-the, entire circumference, or two pieces of tube, SIGH-- I'm glad I finally found the problem. I sent pictures to my dealer here in San Francisco and he is very sympathetic. I've been afraid to drive the car for some 4 months now, but I guess a new chassis is in my future also as some of the rest of you have already experienced. Sorry to be so windy, but I hope my tale might encourage some of you with the earlier years to be vigilant. My love affair isn't over, just suspended for a while.
