Even if Grockle was still an owner these checks would not be applicable to his car as the problems are only on pre 2014 cars.
Both these issues were addressed by the time the 2014 specification changes were implemented, so MMC knew there was a problem. Sadly this did not solve the problem for all those pre 2014 spec owners and Morgan made no attempt to fix these safety related faults, until now.
A very sad situation planenut. I think you will find there is an army of regulators and lawyers picking their way through the extensive long term threads of this forum and they now know what to look for.
As you say its, a shame Morgan did nothing till now - I suspect that's negliance......
