The Aero family, and now the CX generation are modern cars, mostly. I enjoy mine because it can be both an "old school" classic soft top and moments later a warm, comfortable modern roadster.
When I rode a bike I used electrically heated clothing as I firmly believed that bikes were not fair weather toys and can be used all year, but there is no purpose in being cold and wet.
I feel the same about the Plus 8, if the weather is appropriate the hood is down and stays down, but if it means dressing up in layers of winter clothing then I'll put the hood up, turn the heated seats on and crack up the heating.
If it is damp outside and the car starts to mist up then I turn on the AC to dry the air: a modern car controls the temperature automatically, a Morgan needs a co-pilot to continuously adjust temperature, fan speed and A/C settings.
In my SLK Mercedes managed this in a convertible - it also had the glorious "air scarf". I fail to see why MMC couldn't achieve this with the new CX cars. There does, still, seem to be a "Hair Shirt" mentality at MMC.
