Peter - I know what you mean; everything was looking a bit too 'glitzy'.

On our first visit several years ago , we parked up in the Factory yard (probably shouldn't have !) and had a cup of tea and a biccy from the works canteen before visiting the Spares department and then having a general nosey around.

Sadly, it was after the days when you could wander 'at will' around the factory and chat to the workers but it still felt very authentic ( probably a H & S nightmare....!)
