To be honest, it wasn't very clean before!

The Michelin Cross Climate tyres make a massive difference, without any "nanny electronics" there is more grip than the C63 has with all the driver aids.
I had a play with the Plus 8 on some wet and muddy roads..lots of feedback through the steering and I could sense the back end starting to be unhappy before anything actually happened. As soon as it started to move simply easing off the power brought it back into line.
The Plus 8 on winter tyres is as good a car for the winter as it is for the summer.
I'm going to leave the Cross Climates on until they start to seem unhappy as temperature rises. From the Michelin web information I won't notice any loss. It could be that unless you want to do track days Michelin Cross Climate tyres are all an Aero S4 based car needs.

As an aside, I'm beginning to really dislike turbocharged engines where the turbo and engine computers are set to deliver maximum boost and torque at less than 2000 rpm.
Natural aspiration gives much more driver control, but probably at the expense of emissions.

I wish Ford did a Mustang Waggon... the C63 Estate would be gone in a heart beat!
